the saros cycle
The earth is casting an umbral shadow over the moon as I write this. I don’t have access to a clear sky right now, so I am unable to witness this myself. It’s also cloudy outside tonite. This will be the only total eclipse until 2010. The eclipse should last about 51 minutes.
