the $200 netbook search continues
Netbooks have become a mainstream form of communication for everyone on the go. Similar to their pocket-size cousins smartphones, netbooks provide easy access to the information portal that has integrated itself into our everyday lives, the internet.
With the state of economy and the rising popularity of mobile devices, finding a sale on netbooks can be a challenge. Netbooks have much better configurations than they did a couple years ago. With Intel Atom technology, at least 1GB of RAM, decent size hard drives, and the beloved Windows 7 operating system, finding a netbook under $200 is almost non-existent.
Fortunately with an Acer netbook with Windows 7, the $250 price tag gives you the best bang for your buck. The AOD250 has all of the features an average user would need to do their daily online activities while benefiting from the mobility of this netbook:
- the Intel Atom processor for enhanced battery life
- 1GB RAM to comfortably run applications and browse the web
- a 160GB of disk space that’s more than enough to carry around
- a webcam
- wireless capability
- Windows 7 for optimal performance and eye candy
Personally, I’m searching for a desktop replacement when my current notebook throws in the towel for good. I would recommend investing in this notebook if you’ve been seeking an inexpensive solution to being one of the coolest cats at the coffee shop with his sweet netbook or just needing something you can carry around easily that’ll allow you to access your email and favorite social networking sites like Twitter or Facebook.
