the quarter century
Tonight, Mare made meatball subs with homemade meatballs, homemade sauce, garlic bread and an Italian blend of cheese. The delicious combination was accompanied with some kettle-cooked potato chips and lemonade.
After the meal, I brewed up some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee which we had for the first time. The high class bag of whole beans was one of the many gifts Mare got me for my day. I now know what the big deal is. The aroma of the freshly-opened package was so amazing that it was the most fragrant coffee I have ever smelled. The flavor is rich without any bitterness.
I cashed in some PTO for tomorrow, because I refuse to work on my day with the option. The only work I have to do is my clinical assignment due on Thursday, but it’s for the cause so that’s okay.
I will be staying up late (it’s already half past five) and waking up late, one of my all-time favorite pastimes. I will enjoy more Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee which I am convinced I can drink all day if it wasn’t so expensive. Tomorrow night, the fam will get together to enjoy some quality time with each other.
I cannot forget to pick up my Tt 480w PSU from my parents’ house, so I can get started on building Mare’s yet-to-be-named machine.
Happy birthday to me. I’m a quarter of a century young.
