Tonight, Sig and I enjoyed a delicious dinner of steak fingers with mac and cheese. This was the fist time in my life to try steak fingers and I must say I was quite impressed. Way to go Tyson, you guys never let us down.
Also, Sig, K$ and I watched a documentary entitled Maxed Out. It is a propaganda film about the national debt, which is in the trillions. Each family’s share is over $92,000. The average American household has over $9,000 in credit card debt.
The movie featured a segment on mothers whose college age children had committed suicide. One of the students had $12,000 in credit card debt. That kid is my age. I am astounded at how someone could accumulate that much debt so quickly without buying a car.
London has been an established settlement for around two thousand years, and is now considered to be one of the great cultural establishment in the world. It is often thought of as a major influence in the area of media, art, entertainment, and politics. It also has many tourist attractions such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower Bridge. Although London is mostly visited in the summer, there are many year round London accommodations available. London is divided into many districts, each having their own characteristics and landmarks. Notting Hill features the Notting Hill carnival every August. It is a celebration of Caribbean culture with ornate costumes and floats. Having Notting Hill accommodations would put visitors right at the center of the action.
There are many other cities in the United Kingdom that are popular tourist destinations as well. Glasgow, the capital of Scotland, features the city centre, a shopping and entertainment district. Since Glasgow is only a train ride from London, you might desire last minute Glasgow accommodations to stay the night.
