I know what needs to be done today, and I plan on having it all done and then some. Waking up a little earlier than expected makes the everyday tasks easier to complete.
I can stay busy for the rest of the day, the rest of the week, and the week after, then the month, then the years. You know how it goes: Wake up. Do stuff. Sleep. Repeat.
The mobility and easy access of USB flash drives make them one of the best candidates for transporting data. We just invested in this 4-pack of Kingston DataTraveler 4GB USB flash drives. We use them for school, general data storage, and even to run operating systems like Ubuntu on.
When you have to copy data from one location to another that are not networked, then you will need another fast and reliable method. Uploading and downloading using the internet can take some time and additional effort depending on the resources available. Burning the data onto a recordable disc will also take more time than necessary and then even more time to be copied off that disc onto the machine.
The Generation 3 series of Kingston DataTraveler flash drives exhibits faster read/write speeds than the predecessors. Kingston manufactures dependable computer memory solutions, and their flash drives always go on sale because they are always in demand and constantly being improved. The Kingston DataTraveler line of flash drives are also backed with a five-year warranty, so they’re guaranteed to fulfill your storage needs.
Order yourself a 4-pack of these 4GB flash drives for only $24.95 and free shipping while supplies last. That’s about $6.25 each! If you were to buy individual flash drives of this size and superior quality, then you’ll be looking at spending around $10 each and then possibly sales tax plus shipping. Kingston DataTraveler is the flash drive series I choose to rely on for high-quality, compact disk space.
If you’ve been browsing the web for the best price on an entertainment router with great wireless and wired performance, then your search ends here. Cisco is the leader of networking solutions and have been designing and manufacturing the most dependable routers on the market for many years.
The WRT320N features the power of Wireless-N, lightning fast connections, reliable coverage, and advanced security. The sleek design is very pleasing to the eyes unlike those dinosaur boxes tucked away in a corner covered in dust that most of you might currently own.
I personally own and rely on an older model of the same series of these routers. I have been using it for a couple years now, and it has yet to let me down. If I ever had to invest in another router, then I wouldn’t think twice about which router to choose.
The WRT series of routers has an excellent reputation for being some of the best routers on the market. You might expect to spend more than hundred bucks on one of these true testaments to the world of networking. For a limited time, you can be the proud owner of a Cisco Linksys wireless router for the amazing sale price of $65 with free shipping. Upgrade your router now if you haven’t done so in the past few years and feel the rush of Wireless-N course through the veins of your computer network.
Shortly after I posted about EZ’s Brick Oven & Grill this past Sunday, I decided to fill out their comment card online. For the feedback section, I just copied the section of my post about my undercooked burger. I received a voicemail the next day from the general manager of that location. He was apologetic and wanted to make everything right. I returned his call, and we set up a meeting time for the next day which was convenient for me since I was going to be in the area around that time.
When I stopped in on Tuesday, he shook my hand and offered me food on the house. I told him that I had already eaten. We sat at a table, and he reiterated what he said on the phone the day before. I explained from my perspective that burgers should not be pink when ordered from a restaurant. I also mentioned that my brother had ordered the smaller size of the same burger and the patty was pink as well. He asked me about everyone else’s food. I took a short moment to recall and told him that it was OK which really meant no big complaints from them. He then gave me his business card with four Be My Guest complimentary entree cards. Score.
Before I started writing this post, I decided to skim through the Yelp reviews. One of the reviews actually mentioned an undercooked burger patty, so that issue must be part of their reputation. I’m iffy to return but most likely will. I can’t pass up on a complimentary meal for four. I told myself that I’d order a burger to give them another chance at burgers, but after reading that review, I may just go with a pizza.
EZ’s was actually our second choice to dine in since the amazing Thai place up the street was packed to the gills (as usual), EZ’s was nearby, and I’ve never eaten their food before. I noticed that they weren’t busy at all between 8-9pm on a Saturday night, and when I stopped in at 6pm on Tuesday, they weren’t very busy either. I guess the word has made its way around that EZ’s is overall subpar food, and the nearby competition is just stomping them. Sigh.
Even though most electronics we use daily have built-in and proprietary batteries or simply plug into the wall, many other devices still use classic batteries to perform their duties. Think portable radios, remote controls, and some digital cameras. Even third-party video game console controllers also use regular AA batteries.
Why spend more on single-use batteries when you can invest in some rechargeable batteries and a charger that will eventually pay for themselves? A Rayovac charger is on sale now for $19 and also includes a 12-pack of rechargeable AA batteries. This is a great deal since other 4-pack rechargeables that you find at other popular electronics or grocery stores sell for around ten dollars by themselves.
Charge up to four AA or AAA rechargeable batteries of any brand with this charger that has an LED indicator to let you know when the charge is complete. The batteries also work with any charger that fits them. Next time you need to restock on batteries, consider investing in rechargeable batteries. They’re a better choice for the planet because they make less waste, and they’re a better choice for your wallet because they cost less with the number of charges you get out of them versus their equivalence in single-use batteries.

Traffic was terrible in Austin yesterday. I spent over an hour on the road traveling from North Austin to Downtown. When the rain falls, many Austin drivers become too cautious. I’m a cautious driver myself, but I am able to maintain a reasonable speed limit even in unfavorable weather conditions.
I commute to Downtown twice a week to a class that starts shortly after 7pm. I can choose to arrive early before the traffic jams get worse, or I can deal with a congestion that can get so annoying your head will spin. I have stubbornly chosen the latter since this semester started. What a waste of time. What a waste of fuel. It’s just something I deal with every week to enjoy everything else in my life.
My goddaughter’s father emailed me some videos of her laughing. Adorable. We look forward to seeing her next month. I said that in my last somewhat personal update on here, didn’t I? Yep. Still excited. Peace out.
If you don’t use a flash drive as one of your primary methods of portable data storage, then you’re living in the past. Sure, internet clouds and other forms of online storage are available but what if you were unable to access the internet or needed to download a very large file on a time crunch? Consider one of the most cost-effective methods of transporting data that has proved itself time and time again: the USB flash drive.
The Kingston DataTraveler line of USB flash drives are a dependable solution for carrying around data. The physical device has a sturdy loop where a lanyard or a keychain can easily be attached and transported conveniently. This Generation 3 (G3) DataTraveler on sale for $22.95 with free shipping features impressive speeds of 10MB/sec read and 5MB/sec write.
Something I probably haven’t mentioned in posts about Kingston products is their amazing warranties. This 16GB flash drive has a five-year warranty that only proves that this is a great investment in a very useful device manufactured to last you a very long time. Accept no substitutions. Compare the quality of Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drives to similar storage devices and experience the highest levels of durability and dependability.
You could be storing up to 16GB of some very important data on one of these little guys, and the last thing aside from misplacing it that you would want to happen is to experience a disk failure. I’ve been using Kingston memory for many years now and turn to them first. They offer the most bang for your buck without skimping on the quality of their products.
